For those who are interested in semiconductor stocks...

With regards to the Z portfolio...I fully realize that roughly 20% of our funds are invested in VLSI. I have a lot of my personal funds in the stock as well because I feel very strongly that it is one of the best investments in the market right now. If you read my post linked in above, you will see that I don't think this is a particularly good time to sell the stock but I will sell some to free up cash for other trades if that's what others want to do. I definitely do not want anybody to feel like I'm monopolizing the portfolio because I encourage participation from anybody who wants to sponsor a stock. When I bought the last 3000 shares of VLSI, there was over $100,000 in cash available and I used about half of it. I still like the other stocks in the Z portfolio that I am sponsoring...DWRX, LTCW, and IRF...and am holding them in my personal portfolio as well. Dataworks releases their earnings tomorrow.
