Since you are babbling nonsense about Xoma and current state of Neuprex, don't you think it might be fair for one to ask you under what circumstances you left Xoma? Now before you jump to any wide-eyed conclusions about the question, I am just curious of if maybe your judgement is tainted by a non-amicable split. You might want to cool off a bit and go back over your post. Dose of reality you are going to have to face at some time is that you are where you are today and Dr. Scannon is on the verge of hopefully bringing Neuprex to market. And the sad part of it is you won't even be a part of it as an investor if you genuinely believe your own post.

I could make a 20 page response, but here is a small one.
1. According to our previous e-mails way back when, you did claim to trade it about 3 times at a profit in the 1to 4 range. I dont disclose such private stuff, but its at your request. I did and do believe you.
2. You did claim to me about 4-5 years ago that xoma would have 50 million shares outstanding before launch. they have 42 million now.
GREAT prediction> HOPE YOU ARE RIGHT VBG.
3. I disagree with you bpi will not be one drug/indication.
4. Bpi21 is unliscensed to anybody, as are all the peptides etc.
5. I agree the incy patents where not a product stopper, but tthey might have been trouble. Focus and development are clear sailing now.
6. I really dont know if bpi will work in trauma, but its activities are such that it "should" find many uses in large markets.
7. Your "very direct posts" dont phase me as you know. I do believe that you are the very best bear view going and your views are honest and not manipulative. For that I value them.
8. I do think that if you read the patents and medline you would change your assessment from very bearish to hmmmmmm.
I know you can see value if there is value to be found, I really think you will see it. Other really smart people are taking hard looks.
9. Thanks for the response. Wish you well. RK

Little Richard:

You wrote "BPI.... depends.... if you can't find an indication where it works and where there is a decent number of patients (meningococcus doesn't count), it's not worth much."
Since you are not a practicing clinician, how would you have the faintest idea at what point a REAL doctor would utilize Neuprex in a setting where Meningitis/Meningo. might be a probable diagnosis? Hmmmm. I'll give you a hint: imagine how many children are seen in an ER setting around the world with elevated white count and nuchal rigidity?

Rick>great post, but you STILL havent answered my question>>>>>
>So just for the record Rick and Rocket, if a molecule could do this>>>
Neutralize endotoxin
block IL-1
block IL-6
block IL-8
block TNF
Kill bacteria or maybe even fungus(including MDR)
synergize antibiotics(without interference)
AND was non immunogenic and safe>
And was anti-angiogenic
Blocked c1q,c4a,c3a,c3b,c5a of the CASCADE
And had anti fibrinolytic properties.
>>>>>>>then whats that molecule worth?<<<<<<
-----The potential is there Rick,You know it.
Your answer on the molecule??>>not the company. RK
