I didn't take very good notes, since I've come to wait for the transcript from Scott, but here are some main points.

*Business environment still ugly
*$425K ASP in just finished Q, expected to continue rising
*Unit sales have been trending down and will continue to do so for at least a quarter or two
*Cymer is marketing directly to chipmakers
*Service packages sold directly to chipmakers, 'cuz that's what they want
*WIP down 5% at stepper vendors
*Current backlog considered firm
*Discussion of what to do with current laser inventory at stepper vendors, an upgrade to a 5010 would be a "revenue event" for Cymer
*Chambers replaced once or twice a year
*5010 and 5000 series are based on a common enclosure
*Orion-6000 requires new enclosure for power/cooling subsystems
*Breakeven revenues at $46M
*Competitors like to hype future products, Cymer likes to focus on production worthy laser systems

Cont. in next post...

*0.18 production can happen without PSMs, but OPC will most likely be used
*Masks will not be a bottleneck to 0.18 production
*KrF is the acknowledged path to 0.18 production
*An analyst named Wu, said something to the effect of >>I hear the Komatsu lasers DON'T WORK SO GOOD<< :-)
*ArF shipments comprise about 5% to 8% of shipments in any given quarter for Cymer
*Cymer employs parallel design teams
*Still looking for excimer laser talent
*Claim to have 65% of the world's brain power in excimer lasers
*Their LT-investments are Munis
*Headcount is 806

That's all I can make of my chicken scratch.
