Hi Don:
I agree that Kemble lights up our life, keeps us on right track
This is the gol-durndest financial train ride I've ever been on,with more miles to come. When Rob Grogg started it a bit over two years ago, (Dell at @ $5/sh) nobody could see what was ahead. Analysts
could not even see the future in Jan this year, at $41/sh.
This beats anything for sheer entertainment-- we got weathermen,
media personalities, financial planners, engineers, company owners, accountants and maybe even LAWYERS and policemen to provide analyses.
Yet very few( except perhaps Gabriel) will come right out and
say that Dell could double again this year. Any other takers?
Meanwhile if we want facts- SI Dell has them
You want survival???- Dell has it -a 500 pt Dow drop in OCT -noooo problem, we're back up in a bit over 2 months. Biggest weeks drop (400 pts)in Dow history last week, nooooo problem, Dell be back up anytime.

Bear once tried to swamp the thread with 35 posts in one day,
may he RIP.Many famous bears visited here, CS,H,FT,LT,JP,etc,
trying to flag down the Dell train. IMO,survivors could be counted on one finger.

Whooops , time to get back on board.......
Have a great trip, and many thanks to all.
Sig

Don, I second your kudos to Kemble. Because of his enthusiasm and positive attitudes, I have held my Dell shares, which otherwise I would have sold them a a meager gain. By holding them, you see that the stock has started to recover. Thanks Kemble.

Don, you are not bad yourself. You have contributed knowledge about puts. I learned it and got the courage from reading your posts. I have sold many LEAPS Jan 2000 Dell 110 puts at mid 20's. The logic: if I am currently willing to hold Dell at 110, I should be to buy Dell at 85 eighteen months from now (strike price minus premium collected). At that time my dollar to buy the stock is not worth as much as current dollar, and Dell should be at higher price. If I don't get assigned, well that premium is in my pocket free and clear (Uncle Sam's share notwithstanding).

Kemble and Don: God Bless you both.

Paul

Don,
Hi!! Thanks so much for the kind words....and the shirt was a pleasure...now, I am restocking them for the ones who didn't make it to Austin...glad you enjoy wearing it and telling the world about the Dell Train....got some great ideas already for next year...as you can imagine I have a flowing imagination with regards to the future success of Dell...what really "scares me" is I can't exaggerate enough...Dell keeps surpassing my " crazy" dreams... For example: I just came back from my neighbors house...nice new deck overlooking his pool....guess where he got the money for it?? guess what is paying for his vacation in Puerto Rico with his wife?? Well, he was remarking how Dell just keeps exceeding his estimates...no one yet has figured this company out...I truly believe Michael isn't sure of the market share Dell can have in five years... but, I do know he knows his Virtual Integration is unstoppable..and, if you have read that as many times as I have.....there is something wrong with you if you don't dream.

Best, kemble

Best, Kemble
