Conneticut is a big on shade grown tobacco, been grown here longer then I've been around. The growing area is near Hartford and Springfield so should have decent value for development depending on Zoning regs which can be real tough here.

Richard Query is correct. The fields can be seen on the way to the airport. The premium leaves are used for the outer wrappers of many brands of cigars.
