If not the "trick", the closing price would be $25 5/8, $1/2 higher. Oh well, what can we do. Only scoop up a little bit more at the bottom of the every hump.
I'm coming to believe that this hump was not the last one. I'm talking about $22-$30 range. The worst thing for the price right now is MS threat as it seen by the market. Look at Check Point.
It will last until the beginning of 1999, when the started by MSFDC pilots a promised to be completed. They must to show a working product by that time. Failure or just inferior product is not going to be taken lightly.
On the other side, CF will have running banks, AT&T, Visa from Genesys by that time. When the market sees results, it accepts the fact that MS can be bitten as it was with Intuit.
Just MHO

BTW, I'm not sure if MS will be able to produce anything at all of industrial strength. Throughout all their history they have not produced anything yet. All their products so far were buggy desktop applications.
