I'm glad so many here are also hep to the origins of my name on SI. One of the best films ever made, IMHO.

Let's hope Steve doesn't finish it with "the light that burns twice as bright burns have as long..." I'd like Apple to have a recovery lifespan much longer than Roy's four years.

Thanks for the reassurance (and the links) on the insider trading at Apple, and I have to admit, those reasons hadn't occurred to me. NeXT never did go public, did they? So, any stock options Avie and friends had there were basically worthless. I have a buddy at LucasArts in the same situation -- oodles of options, but not very likely to become a public company...
