I have received a copy of Mr. Singer's public disclosure record. However, I have decided not to post it on SI. Anyone wishing to obtain a copy of the NASDR disclosure may do so at nasdr.com Click "About Your Broker," then "Perform an Online Search," then follow the prompts and provide the info. At the search page request "Richard Singer" and type in "Global" for the name of the brokerage firm. To get the disciplinary/regulatory portion of the report, click "Deliver Report" and fill out the questionnaire. You should receive an e-mail from nasdr within a week. You will receive considerably more information if you request a copy of the public disclosure from your state securities division. For phone numbers and links, go to nasaa.org BTW I'm mystified as to why the nasaa link doesn't seem to work on SI. This happened the last time I posted it as well. You may have to type it in...or just go to the site and follow the links for contacting your state securities regulator. Part of their site isn't working at the moment; that's the reason for the "Default" in the URL and possibly the reason that the link doesn't work. If you call your state or send an e-mail, ask for the "CRD" for Richard V. Singer II. CRD stands for "Central Registration Depository:" it is the data base for brokers and brokerage firms that is shared by NASDR and the state securities regulators. Many states charge a small fee for sending a CRD; however, they may waive it under certain conditions. Ask them what the fee is and if there are any conditions under which it may be waived for an individual investor. Most states will mail you the CRD and send you an invoice with the CRD.
