For Any who Still check old Blue Cheap:

Over Looked Emerson Radio (MSN), Opportunity Knocks!!
The CHEAP Investor has recommended Emerson Radio several times over the course

of
a year now as in print The CHEAP Investor said that a company like MSN should sell
for close to or about 2x sales?

The CHEAP Investor commented that with 150mil in sales for MSN and said this
stock could be bought for $2.50 to $3.00 per common share.

MSN is now in their fiscal 1999 year and Numbers just released by Emerson for their
1st QT. of fiscal 1999 which is from March 30th 1998 through June 30th.
MSN reported 59 Million in sales for this first Qt. which historically is NOT a better
Qt.
for MSN because the closer they get to Christmas the MORE SALES Emerson has.
SO, Emerson is going into their two BEST Qt's which are their 2nd & 3rd Qt's.
Now, using these sales numbers a little, 60mil x 4 qtrs = 240mil x 2x sales =
$4.80
Emerson owns 27% of the common shares PLUS warrants of a company named
Sports
Supply Group nyse (GYM). GYM just reported their fiscal 1998, reporting an
increase
in profits over their fiscal 97 for .17 cents per share to .20 cents per share for 1998.
GYM's 52-week Range is 6 1/8 - 10 1/4 most recently trading on the high end of this
range until the Dow took a down turn...If GYM trades back to $10 this places a value
of
Emerson's investment in GYM at $30 Million. Divide that figure into MSN's
outstanding
shares and you have about $.50 cents, with MSN trading at .$44 cents. ??

I was told that this 1st QT gain MSN just reported amounts to about $30 Million
increase
in VALUE or $.50 cents per share, ADD the $.50 cent Value which is in MSN's
investment of owning 27% of Sports Supply Group (GYM) and we got a $1.00 stock
selling for $.44 cents. This does NOT even take into account the old established
Emerson
Radio NAME and SALES distribution network.

The CHEAP Investor has stated in several issues that Emerson Radio is a GREAT
take
over candidate or BUY OUT candidate especially for a foreign company looking to
gain
a market in the US as well as a Name known world wide. NOW I see why it is
quite possible some foreign company might pay as much as $3, $4, $5, who knows. It
is thought that
an Asian company has been looking at Emerson just as recent as this past week..
I am beginning to see why The CHEAP Investor kept comparing MSN to DEPCC.
This company DEPCC was just BOUGHT OUT for $5.25 CASH. DEPCC was
selling
for $1.06 just a few months ago. Plus DEPCC share holders will also receive stock in
the company that bought them, so you just never know..

Figuring this TURNAROUND in SALES & PROFITS, the Emerson NAME,
DISTRIBUTION NETWORK & and a little (GYM) could push MSN to that $5.00

The opening of the South American and Mexican mkt to MSN by a solid distributor
that
sells Sears , Westinghouse is what really did it for me with MSN much more than
WalMart here..I think they have pulled off a major coup and have really positioned
themselves for EXPLOSIVE growth down there where there are several hundred
consumers for their products....

ALL this for a Undervalued, Yet well Known amex stock selling right on it's 52 week
low price of 3/8 to 7/16. BARGAIN ? I think so......

Regards,
Malcolm
