Hello Fort,

If you e-mail Ron <ron@infras.com> and ask him about his outlook you will find that he is very much in agreement with what I said in this week's Techweb article. I have seen the presentation he gave at this show and I will tell you that it is very similar to the information we have been giving you in our Monthly Letters and Daily Notes. Charts in the presentation highlighted the trend in bookings and shipments for each segment of the business. He also pointed out the weakness in unit volume growth. In our view, the unit volume story must reverse trend before we embark on another capacity expansion phase.

Unfortunately, we have no control over how Informed Investors chooses to advertise. Needless to say, we were very surprised in the way they interpreted Ron's presentation.

Have a good day.

Carl

I am very surprised to see such strength in AMAT and weakness in CYMI, esp. after they beat estimates by 20%<GGG> Est. were for .05 and they came in with .06 Is this merely another pre-earnings runup or have we put in a bottom? Any TAers out there?
