Ellen,
I find it outrageous that S.I. Administration will not give you a simple "yes" or "no" response to your question.
Not only are you a paying member of this service, the question is legitimate under the circumstances. You would think for no other reason than quality customer service the administration would respond in a direct and cordial manner to one of it's member's inquiries.
I have noticed that S.I. is aware that there are those using this service for reasons other than discussion. Have you seen the new disclaimer?

Disclaimer and Warning

The Securities Exchange Commission has expressed concerns that the stock
price for companies with small market capitalization (also known as
"small cap", "micro cap" or "penny" stocks) may be particularly
susceptible to manipulation. Therefore, you should carefully evaluate
the information posted by other members about such stocks on the Five
Dollars And Under discussion threads, as well as on other Silicon
Investor threads. Silicon Investor assumes no responsibility for the

It's appears rather than answer your question about Mr. Kugler, they will simply state, use their service at your own risk!
The 'risk' may very well be, in this instance, Mr. Kugler.
A simple "no" would go a long way in this case.

Good Day

Ellen,

I think I know what is going on. After reading all of yor discussion you have had with SI Bob (definately not Accountemps "Bob") maybe just maybe the answer is SI Bob may not be very smart. You know home but the lights aren't on, a couple cards short of a full deck, breakfast is ready but the eggs are scrambled etc.

Joe

P.S. I havent been suspended nor do I expect to be. The reason I never (ok rarely) post on a weekend is that I have a life and try to not get involved with these things when I can be with my family.

Ellen,

S.I. Bob has shown he lacks the stones to do his job effectively. (IMO)

A gentleman on another thread posted info on my daughter, after a short suspension the loser was allowed free reign on S.I. So becarefull folks, looks like uncle Bob has left the house to the inmates.

The answer to the question "Does SI Admin have any affiliation with Mike Kugler?" is, of course, "No". Mike Kugler is a member of the site, same as anybody else here; nothing more.

Regarding a "Trial Member Block" (TMB) on this thread:

As I explained to you privately, I don't automatically place a TMB on a thread simply because it's asked for. The TMB is considered a last resort. It was implemented as a means of reducing our workload if a thread is having too many problems with trial members, usually those who create accounts solely for the purpose of harassing a particular thread.

One or two problem posters is dealt with individually and manually, as has always been the case. The TMB has been used only when a horde of new accounts (as many as dozens of them) has been created to inundate a thread with harassing posts, effectively swamping us in our attempts to do our jobs. When we see that a thread has been "targeted" for this kind of activity, we put in a TMB rather than subject a thread and ourselves to a flood of those kinds of posts.

I asked you to show me that this thread has seen that kind of activity. You haven't.

I do not wish to get into a public debate with anyone, and intend this to be my last public post in this thread, so if any replies are necessary, please send them to me via Private Message.

I trust the thread can now get back on topic.

Regards,

SI Admin (Bob)
