Good question. Maybe the pressure is being applied in underlying issues, and friends appear to be foes, and foes appear as friends.

Do you know where/ what banks hold some of the M.S. hoards of cash? I have a potential idea, but that it is perhaps hasty rationalization on my part.

It might get real silent here shortly, like yesterday. I thought I had accidentially erased the bookmark.

I think that is exactly what is / was happening in a number of these cases.

Not only depository, but underwriting, supplier credit, etc. relationships. A large company can put tremendous pressure on a bank if needed.
