interesting happenings on the directory front...

I'm here at the Burton Group Catalyst '98 conference, and witnessing some substantially good vibes between Microsoft and a small directory company called Isocor. Read into the apparent love-fest all you want, but both were publicly praising each others work in the directory space, and Isocor's recently announced MetaConnect products are a natural tie-in to Microsoft's Active Directory.

ICOR's metaconnet products will help MSFT's active directory tie into other vendor's directory offerings, which could make it a smoother ride to dominance in the directory space.
