Dartmouth Picks iMac -- Dartmouth College, home of one of the largest academic, mostly Mac networks in the world, recently sent a letter to incoming freshmen recommending they purchase Apple's new iMac to fulfill the college's computer ownership requirement. Dartmouth supports Windows 95 and 98 (and offers discounted Dell systems to students, alongside a variety of Macintoshes) but strongly recommends Mac systems for use on its campus network.
