Unless you never want to own DELL, do not use stop losses on a stock like DELL. I can't tell how many times I have been stopped out, felt good about it for a week then re-entered the same stock HIGHER. Stops are moving targets that the MMs shoot for, it's easy money. Now on smaller stocks by all means do use them if your time horizon is short and you are trying to protect a gain, but why not just take the gain, there are many fish in the pond, why not catch the next one, or better yet, just buy DELL and hold.
