Madera has had a lot of PR in the past. I think people got tired of it and now that they are real with good revenues and nice profit it will take some time to set in. It is like crying wolf too many times. When the damn thing actually shows up nobody believes it any more. My belief having owned this stock for 3 years is that it will take a couple more quarters of good results for this company to be looked at differently and then it will take off. I am definitely holding on for the ride. Easy to understand product, good strategy, nice environmental approach, rapidly growing profits and sales, good pr with its own a tree program, it is all there. Not too many pennies with all that.

The word -wolf- is the Madera problem. Its hard to say I will hold WOOD for several quarters just to see if it will breakout after being in the stock 5+ years.

I have had many stock which had many good qtrs and give it one bad qtr and its all over down hill. What I know of this company, we can grow bigger every qtr for many years. I figure a 2 1/2 year fast growth period then there will be a level production unless we have more shipping ports and Mills.

I have suggested to Madera to give a dividend of 1 cent per share to be paid before the end of 1999.
