I understand that rumors indicate that Sun is about to be served papers challenging their exclusive right to JAVA.

It appears that there may have been parallel work going on at Microsoft and that there is cause for an action even though the fabled computer language belongs exclusively to SUN.

Microsoft will not want to use Sun's trademarked name JAVA, but will possibly begin to use their own trademarked language that has yet to be tagged.

They are toying with Decaf amongst others. I have a friend in Bellingham that is aware of this potential. Until it happens though it's still a rumor.

Do you think the SUN thread would like to know?

Your dearest friend,

Rich
