well its all very unfortunate i came to the conclusion a year ago that epic was likely hot air and descided not to speculate in it further since as i have mentioned previously one they start falling you cant get out and you can only get out when its going up due to lack of liquidity .the same pattern is true throughout the vse and i dont think epic is any different from hundreds of other companies . i took my baths on other vse stocks which died well before epic because of the pog, i ended up hanging onto the real clunkers and have waited until they took a little jump up like bomax did recently and sold at a large loss but switched over to a better company which has also been hammered but has prospects for the long term with cash and good management like metallica ,so in that way i am upgrading the quality of the stocks that i have left to participate in the metals rally when it happens and who knows when that will be. the current general stock market decline is really creating some great values in the oil and gas and drilling areas ,i hate to keep harping on this but unifab has a pe of 10 ,is growing has no debt and i know some of the managers ,global industries again i know the president its an awesome company and is trading close to its annual low and stone energy the same way and i know people personally all invloved with these companies, they are not going to go broke and by this winter will be much higher if we get a cold la nina winter as expected.the president of global industries owns mor than 30 million shares in the company so he is making a big vote of confidence in the company .some of these beaten up companies are showing compelling values compared t the likes of microsoft ,coke,pfizer which are all trading for pes greater than 50 .anyway perhaps you should check out these companies and do your due diligence and get their financials i dont think you will regret it, i own all of the above .i am just waitng to bail out of my other vse stocks and will put some of the money into the ikes of pangea , metallica and canarc in the hopes of someday getting some of my lost money back,alos if we are in for a major market decline then gold will go up and these companies are like long term call options on gold.anyway i think that very few other than the priveligded insiders can make money on vse stocks and i for one have learnt my lesson .arh
