. Zulu technology, at least as of a few months ago, was superior to Doubleclick technology

One problem, Party, is that we've yet to see this technology even running.

1) How much did Doubleclick pay to have Goldman Sachs get them on Nasdaq?

2) How much will Zulu pay to merge with ESVS and get onto Nasdaq?

Do you understand what the point of an IPO is? Double-Click received money directly as a result of the IPO, they did not lose it. It is only second tier companies that need to rely on the 'shell' game.

P.T., agreed. My analysis differs only to extent I say we place less emphasis on current stock values, because of weird way the take over has been effected without price support for ZULU stock, and look at underlying investment value or asset value as an "alternative" way of comparing values.

I don't agree with looking at original SIM price as a comparable, because it was acquired at a fire sale price at a time when losing a lot of money and management was not on the same page. I give P. Hayton a lot of credit for engineering this deal (I have stated many times he obviously is creative and a deal maker, and deserves much thanks for putting together what most of us have not done, cannot do, and may never be able to do). I would use that price solely as the absolute low point for purposes of cross-verifying current valuation analysis.

We need someone (perhaps I will have to do it) to find out better comparables for sale of internet advertising business, or need to study recent IPOs to see what investment banking community has recommended, and what market has done with those recommendations after the stock was issued.

What about Softbank's recent acquisitions of stock in various internet companies. That may be best comparable of all.
