Ramsey,
I doubt the influx of Japanese money into our markets will be all that substantial... it has already been seen somewhat... might have been part of some recent rallies... most Japanese with money are intensely patriotic and loyal, doubtful to send vast capital to this gaijin nation of Japan-bashers

big bang reform has already backfired... yen is down from 125 or so earlier this year into 150's last month... trouble is that Japan has had about 4-5 big bang worthless jerkoffs in the last couple years

major surgery is going to be historical and capture the world's attention far more than already seen... a new era of western financial colonization is underway, baptized by GE Capital and their brilliant $40B investments

sugery will be accompanied by very foreign events before long, like months... look for Indonesia to enter tribal butchery stage again... look for Korea to contain massive rioting... look for Japan to see some similarities altho under control -- riots, shortages, inflation, increase of suicides, attacks on policians, referenda

gonna be interesting, and not to be forgotten... the United States economy will be dragged down by significant effects... how does negative Q2 GDP sound? how about negative Q3 for sure? how about even larger Q4? how does 180 dollar/yen sound?

US exports now seeing large deterioration vis-a-vis Europe... strong dollar is now a big big issue

I see no alternative given the collective head in the sand
