Thean, from your track record, I doubt if AIM is for you. You seem adept enough at calling the turns in the stocks you follow which is enough to beat the majority of investors. I was just clarifying some of the misconceptions that you had vs. AIM. AIM is probably better than buy and hold for 80% of the stocks in the universe. The exceptions are the ones that go straight into the ground and never recover and the ones that go to the sky and never look back. Most stocks do not have these characteristics. Consequently AIM will ten to outperform with greater safety, the majority people who choose to invest in the 80% in the middle.

Once we get some data over time, I'll probably take a look at the Sharpes ratios but that will not be until next year at the earliest.
