Essam I do feel $40 - 44 is achievable beginning with 8/31 Seybold

We are seeing profit "rotation" in the popular issues . Some concern over Mr Clinton's fate (this week only) has sellers taking profits .

Their past success (greed) can't keep them out of the market (AAPL , IBM) . AAPL may show some jitters but its trend is upward as there is nothing else going on in the PC arena to equal AAPL's calendar .

My feeling is the iMAC advt. launch will be significant , followed by SF's 8/31 Seybold announcements , which is separately a publishing , and a SYSTEM event(s) .

Both IBM's and Motorola's PowerPC announcements indicate powerful servers are coming AAPL's way and suggests AAPL can pick from each (supplier) what it wants (at good prices also ?) .

Last year at this time AAPL (Mr Jobs) had to knock hard on IBM's and Mot's doors to gain entrance . This year BOTH their welcome mats are engraved in gold for him , his iMACs and his UNIX (X OS) servers .

AAPL may help its option writing buddies so there may be a blip mid-August from CFO Anderson or CTO Avie doing something deja vu back all over again etc.

Essam hope this helps , but be aware , it is my reading of the newsroom's tea leaves .

Regards,
Jim K.
