MU will crank them out when demand is there. It's not that MU doesn't have technology, demand is too thin for now. MU is in commodity buz, not in leading
tech buz when it comes to dram.

Skeeter,

Did you know that they also have .35 micron fabs? I wonder what they are building in them? Also are you sure Hitachi's .18 fab is manufacturing DRAM or maybe, possibly they are working on new logic chips? Is it possible Toshiba is also using their sub.25 micron fab for non-DRAM chips?

SB,

Re: "so, where is mu's big advantage over the big boys? fact - there is none."

Well said, and I buy your logic fully. Lehman is selling a different story though... guess we better rush out and load up since they say so... yeah right.

MU is in a very tough business, and in my view they are totally at the mercy of the cycle, Supply and Demand, and those "crazy" (meant nicely, really I mean no harm towards anyone) folks overseas who are very desperate for a dollar, in fact, as many as they can get ahold of.

And those line-widths were as of Feb 98.
