PIXR

Pixar is a movie animation company best known for Toy Story. That was their first (and only) movie. They have a new one coming out this fall about bugs. But there is a "fly in the ointment" (HAHA -- couldn't resist!) Another studio is releasing another bug movie -- and I think the release date is before PIXR. One, forget which one, is called ANTZ. How much of a market is there for animated movies about bugs??!! Anyway, they are wildly overvalued. I shorted this a while back when it was 60 -- I think bw has been short on and off as well. Maybe he (or she?) has some insight.

don't know Thean. I do know that these co's have real fundamental problems w/ their businesses and things AREN'T getting better. There's semi conf coming up and that could be what they're reacting to. They may rise a little in here, but they'll go down just as fast. Did you notice the latest intelligence report on PC sales.... they were down dramatically. It will get alot worse before it gets better. As for those 3 analysts, these are the smae guys who have been saying things will turn around for the past 3 years... Kurlak is still negative and he's the only one who knows what he's doing.

As for PIXR, there's no scoop there. Just an awful chart and a bloated valuation. Additionally, another co is releasing a computer animation movie called "ANTS" which will compete w/ their "Bug's Life". Additionally, they made less money this last qtr than they did last year. I've seen stories like this peek out before around this time. For instance, I remember toy co's peaking in stock price whenever the movie (that they had the toy rts to) that everyone was lathered up about finally got released.
