Howard, I hate to point this out to you, but QWST's earnings report beat the street by 4 cents (10 cents loss expected, 6 cents loss actual).

QWST earnings didn't cause the Dow to halt its advance in its tracks and drop some400 points.

and

QWST earnings report didn't result in media comment all over the financial world about the impact that Mr G's comments was having on markets around the globe.

That was Mr G plain and simple giving his views on stock market prices nad not a t a dinner party either but in the US Congress with the whole financial world watching and waiting to catch every word and intonation and its not the first time and presumably it won't be the last. I don't think he was right about stock prices before and I only hope he's not right now.
