bdog, I have been experimenting with a new scan. It should detect a downtrend in the RSI. Then a manual look at the charts might reveal some opportunitys. Of course, this is the 1st iteration of the scan. Perhaps some wise TAers will kibitiz and suggest changes. Here is the metastock scan: Ref(C,-2) <Ref(C,-3)AND Ref(C,-1) < Ref(C,-2) AND C > Ref(C,-1) AND LLV(V,60) >20 AND HHV(RSI(3),30) <80 AND HHV(RSI(3),30) < HHV(Ref(RSI(3),-30),30) AND HHV(Ref(RSI(3),-30),30) >90 what do you think? I have only backtested it on the 15th of June and the results were encouraging to me. thanks collin
