Correction. The $5B by 2002 would work out to 35% annual growth. Impressive - but did the figure surprise analysts?

Is this figure expected or did it wow the analysts? Having been there, how do you rate the conf call overall? Were the analysts satisfied?

The only feed-back I got was from H&Q and I know they were surprised by the numbers and said they'd need to raise estimates. I have no idea if this means publishing a report, but I do know NN was put on their morning call.

As conference calls go, this was one of the smoothest I've ever witnessed. Alan has an unusual ability to be at ease and focused at the same time. I seriously doubt he exaggerated when he said the company was rallying behind his goals and clamoring for immediate implementation. Before his arrival, I swear NN's marketing team was made up of Trappist monks.

Or so it seemed. . .
