Goldsnow, pilot-less airplane was truly insightful but it doesnt answer the question of WHAT NEXT? Ministry of Finance is a bunch of old myopic Magoo hacks who are poor students of US history of the Great Depression... so they must repeat it with a Japanese flavor, perhaps with much longer length in time, and greater bite ironic that the majority of J citizens are not really "put out" much with this recession or depression... it is the young eager entrepreneurs who cannot borrow money from the dead standing banks which are frozen solid in inactivity... most automatons go to work, have a meal, a toss with the old lady, save their yen, watch their house shrivel in value, and gripe their songs to the choir also ironic that many J companies are suffering from the decreasingly value of the yen !!! ... get a load of that... for a decade the J companies acquiesced in building mfg plants in the exporting countries like the US... not only cars but all manner of electronics outside of Japan's homeland... they took their mfg offshore due to high labor costs like the US did... I saw the Honda plant in Penna... so the strong US$ has cut into competitive prices of any surplus US production, but more importantly disabled any potential automobile price cut very informative tidbits of info, very sad also... confirms my belief that Min Finance is the real problem, or a large part of the problem... they answer to nobody, control a budget of equal size to Diet budget, subject to zero voting public, and control the vast slush funds for stupid construction projects, massive overcapacity of mfg plants, and yes fair share to the prevalent mafia Japan is the 18-ton gorilla weighing down the Asian Tigers once they straighten out their acts... gonna be a rich variety of winners and losers... most Americans regard Asia as a homogeneous entity... the losers will gather the attention later this summer the voting J public just voted the missing pilot out of office... Jerry Ford is donning a flight jacket ooops, Jim Willie
