Assume your senario occurred today. If the $22/share price was offered, what would happen to all those shorts trying to buy back their shares ? Would the listed price for Vivus on the NASD temporarily shoot above $22/share or would the price hold regardless of what the shorts did ?

I would be interested in any insight.
