The next product is always the one that will catch Intel and turn a profit but somehow they never do.

While it is unlikely that any AMD processors will "blow away" Intel's offerings, it is very likely that K6-3 and K7 will continue taking market share from Intel. It is also likely that AMD's CPU business will become increasingly profitable over time.

Remember, AMD could have been posting profits quarter after quarter based on other product lines
