Not that many bears gloating after the sharp 5% drop.
A bearish sign? Bears were caught unprepared, or not that many of them left?

I think they're just not shouting that hard as in previous tops.
Myself, I bombed the threads with wolf cries prior and after the August 6th high and April 22nd high, and was humbled by the market.
Many technical indicators say we made THE top last week, but this time around I didn't shout my lungs out. Just stated my mind.
My best T/A said that the top should have been made in the spring. The Russell did top on April 21st, but big caps had air for one more run.
BTW- See the market response to MRK buyback plan as opposed to last October mini crash with IBM announcement of buy back.
