This week, loaded Windows98 (no problem), loaded WaveTop (some problems but not bad overall). Called ComCast - they said that they did not pass through the vbi info, but they must since I am receiving data via WaveTop (i.e., don't believe your cable company.)

The jury is still out on WaveTop. I can see how it would be great for scads of info (such as news and articles) but still want to get up to the minute quotes via the internet. Lots of options require you to access the internet and you have no way of knowing which ones until you get the error message or an attempt to connect to internet. It would be nice to know which selections were available without trying them.

One drawback is not being able to watch TV and download at the same time. I am quite used to watching CNBC or CSPAN while computing and hate to give that up.

Question 1: Anyone know if one will ever be able to watch tv and download at the same time?

Question 2: Do you have to pay for Microsoft Web TV for Windows to get the tv schedule? I thought it was free. Maybe I am missing something because the first day I tried it the schedule was there, now I get no schedule.

Wish WAVO would start climbing again!!!
