To all,

New release on the web site: IMO GPGI is getting smart with this low keyed announcement. Just enough to tell shareholders that things are happening with no hype.

28 July 1998

Global Platinum + Gold is pleased to announce that the first commercial shipment of precious metals impregnated
resin was shipped on July 22nd to Sabin Metal Corporation for final processing.

The next shipment will be made during the first week of August and subsequently shipments to Sabin are
expected to be made weekly. As the operation at the GPGI mill ramps up it is expected that the quantity of
material shipped will increase.

Based on experience gained in processing the ore with this new method it is expected that the metal values will
increase. It is also expected that with refinements in the leaching process there will also be an increase in metal
recovery.

Refining the impregnated resin results first in the recovery of gold. This is followed by platinum, then palladium
and finally rhodium which can take as much as 3 months to process. Therefore, payments received from Sabin
will reflect this staggered recovery process.
