I've seen similar information proclaiming that the market cap of Merck was greater than that of all biotechs combined. I guess this is the type of lunacy one witnesses at the final phase of a great bull market. Net stocks to one end of the spectrum and biotechs at the other. I've never ventured into options on stocks; I've been extremely successful at losing money by using a buy and hold approach. But after the disappointments of SMTG, XOMA & CORR I will be very happy to someday maybe get out with something from my original investments and never look back. Way too many games are played in the biotech arena for the small investor to have a chance.
