Here's some recent news from Kryoteck, a partner of IMG in the computer chip cooling business, which is partly owned by IMG.

Unfortunately, the freaking PR-idiots at IMG did not have the foresight to get IMG's name mentioned in the article. What a bunch of losers. A NASA monkey could do a better PR job than IMG does.

This from the IMG website:

KryoTech, Inc. <http://www.kryotech.com>, a 21%-owned affiliate of Intermagnetics General Corporation, is the leader of Cool Computing. It develops and manufactures value-added thermal management solutions for the computer and telecommunications industries. Founded in 1996,
KryoTech has been granted an exclusive world-wide right to sell products for use in computer chip cooling which are based on Intermagnetics' refrigeration technology.

"The bulk of Intermagnetics' sales and earnings comes from the magnetic
devices. Rosner said the nonfreon coolant has been held up by a number of factors, including a rival alternative to freon, known as R134A. He also said he thinks auto companies are pushing customers to use the freon that is still available."

Interesting, because FRIGC is itself a mixture containing about 75% RC134.

Another stellar quarter turned in by good ole IMG. These results indicate that either the core business that existed before the acquisitions is down or the acquisitions have been performing poorly.

FRIGC is a FLOP. Why did these guys ever think that they could break into markets dominated by titans such as DuPont and Allied-Signal? More importantly, why did we ever think they could do it ?

This earnings report makes it clear why we've seen such massive interest in this stock over the last few days. :-)
