Djane :

I suggest investing in foreign telecom giants instead of in India-based telecom companies. To short-list the companies, consider only those which have the economic clout to deal with short-term financial difficulties.

Another factor to keep in mind is the companies will have to bribe their way through in India. It would be best to choose those companies that are not shackled by anti-bribery laws in their home countries.
