the only thing i need is a little more ram..and the hard drive space...
but i bought a burner and that solved some of my problems.
i don't need to do program installs any faster..
maybe a faster modem..28.8 and 33.6

I'll take that 400 Mhz machine off of your hands if it is taking up too much space:-)

If you have been reading my work, you know that I am dead against accounting earnings when it comes to valuing companies and measuring their performance. I have gathered massive amounts of evidence to support this assertion. As an adjunct to the evidence already compiled, I have performed a screen of all publicly traded technology companies (non-biotech) in North America which have had a 100%+ increase in market value over the last 52 weeks. Needless to say, earnings growth has had very little to do with the companies' performance ranking. Earnings are horrible indicators of value for growth companies and most technology companies are primarily growth companies. This being the case, no one on this thread, or on SI should focus on earnings in order to guage a company's performance or prospective value.

Since this thread is titled "Learning to Invest Correctly", I felt I would attempt to debunk the biggest myth in investing (for the US markets at least).
