Dont you guys think we are in crash mode RIGHT NOW???? You are calling for so many reflex rallies etc. that last until August etc., but don't you see the REAL possibility we are in PANIC mode right now?

Focus on the New High-New Low chart, the divergence has set us up at the exact same point as in 1987....

I think we are headed down fast, with hardly any reflex rally...

Thomas C's reply to you deserves a response... he asked about the new high/low charts looking like 1987.

If I ever again focus on ONE indicator alone, you can take me to the woodshed... I deserve it!

In fact, if you look at the McLellan, you find it looks more like POST Oct 1987 rather than the crash itself. Other indicators show a likeness to 1986.

Now I am not saying we can't be in the middle of a panic sell-off. I would expect VIX to be sky-high showing fear, and it isn't.

In summary, I think Dan is closer than Tom on this one... except for the 10,000 part. BWDIK?
