Oh, I have a sneakin' suspicion you'll see K6-2-350s well before the Mendocino release. <G>


Not sure what you mean by "next generation" in terms of AMD. The K6-3 could be called that but I doubt it will be out before the Mendocino.
Right now, AMD is diligently working on higher speed grades of the K6-2...this is causing yields to fluxuate downward at times. With the great demand for the K6-2 maybe AMD isn't boxing enough to meet that demand segment.
