Watch out for the tax man when you're day-trading - if you've been doing it long enough, you'll have some shares that are more than 12 months old that you can realize LONG TERM cap gains on. BUT, you'll also have some shares that are less than 12 months old - those you'll pay short term rates on.

All depends on your tax situation, but unless you remember the difference (20% vs. 28%) you may not be making as much as you thought.
