Intel EPS, the way I read it

predicted 3qtr (sep 98) 0.74
Curt yr (dec 98) 3.05
Next yr (dec 99) 3.67

compare with prediction by 1st call in may 98

3qtr 0.77
FY dec 98 3.16
Yr 99 (dec 99) 3.84

Plus actual numbers 97
Dec 97 result 3.87

DJ

...sigh

PS: where do you boyzngals fish for your earnings estimates. I dont have access any more to 1st call (AOL does not pay up ...) I got the numbers here from the SI-own connections. Any suggestions welcome

JT; RE:" SOX Stox "

LSCC, TXN and VECO have some interesting candlesticks, seemingly bullish in sentiment. INTC's UpTrend is still intact, but the SOX.X is really going sideways.

I was a bit surprised how quickly the financial sectors have deteriorated in the last 8-10 sessions. Seems to be related somehow to weakness in the USD.

TRF Russia is selling off again; third trip down to 20.

It was just too good!

Sold my 8 little CPQJF contracts that I purchased Friday for $2.81 for $4.50. Probably left some money on the table, but the run up was just too quick for me to stick around. However, I give thanks!
