To All,

You have to read the recent posts on the raging bull wavx thread by Plympton. Very informative and heartening. On an side note. I had a nightmare last night and I need to ask this question as stupid as it may be. Is it possible for a company to do extremely well, have profits like crazy but still not get noticed by the market and the share price stay in single digits? I hope I know the answer, but I need some reassurance. It was a bad one (nightmare, that is).

Bob

I agree. Mass deployment doesn't happen overnight. It isn't like a Tsunami. It takes time. Actually, I think Q3 99 is a bit aggressive for mass-deployment (10 million+ meters). It's only a year away and right now we have 0 meters deployed as far as I know. That assumes that PC manufacturers will be offering the meters in a lot of their SKUs. I don't know what kind of numbers to expect from the add-on market (Hauppage).

Imagine the infrastructure necessary to support 10 million meters, that can't be built overnight either. As I believe Steven has alluded to, the rollout of meters is being carefully planned as not to overwhelm the back-end infrastructure necessary to support the myriad of transactions that will be rolling in.

Nothing could be more damaging to Wave than having a customer that was unable to purchase content because of a back-end transaction failure. This would lead to consumer frustration and anger with the meter. Frustration and Anger = $0 Sales.

These guys are accutely aware of these types of problems and will try to control the flow of meters to avoid problems such as these.

Patience...
