When Peoplesoft broke in price the spring, I sold it and bought more SAP The market is not supporting results from the smaller companies, it seems, only the biggest.

I have been a lurker on this board for some time. Have also been long on SAP for some time. Can anyone tell me what the corporate income tax in Germany is compared to the US? Many analysts, including the Princeton Economic Institute, believe that EMU will have a profound negative effect on Germany. This and other factors will adversely effect the German economy(similarly to unification) and the government will scramble to raise money to pay for this debacle -- possibly by raising taxes, both corporate and private. The effect on the DAX would be negative and SAP would not be immune.
If the German corporate tax is (or will be) higher than in the US, would it be beneficial or even feasible for SAP to become an American based company? Could this be part of the reason that SAP has decided to be listed on the NYSE?
Just a few thoughts from someone who is not a sophisticated investors but delivers babies for a living.
