OFF SUBJECT The fact that perjury may be common doesn't make it legal. If you get stopped for going 15 mph over the speed limit, saying that other people do it to won't get you off the resulting ticket and fine. Our government is unique in not having the CEO above the law. In a country like France it would be assumed that leaders are immune to this sort of thing. That's why I thank God that I live in America.
Personally, I'd rather keep Clinton in office because he has lost so much credibility that he can do little harm now, and he will be a drag on the Democrats in the Fall election. However, perjury under oath or even worse conspiracy to obstruct justice are serious crimes. At this time, all the facts aren't out, so I will reserve judgement on his guilt. If it turns out that he goes down, it's a shame that such a talented super politician would kamikazi because he couldn't keep his pants zipped.
Believe it or not, there are plenty of people who have not committed perjury or adultry, so I guess they can cast stones.
