Yes, and just a little tad bit higher. But then comes state income
tax, and of course AMT. I like the long term cap gains, if I have
to take em at all. That is why I don't day-trade--No time to do it
right anyway--

Yes, if your gross income is above $150K, with all limitations/re-calculations of the itemized deductions, the top tax bracket can be as high as 39%.
