It's an area that is of interest to medical device makers. It is apparently a broad patent that covers many medical uses of lasers. Its potential may be more in the realm of licensing to specialty device makers where the need is critical. The value is probably in the broadness of the patent, not in the enhancement to BLTI's existing devices.
