Remember it was only 80% that MDIN acquired from FIRE; NPEC has 20% if I remember correctly. But yeah, IMO they'd give the 80% of Andacollo back along with the 80% of Copa and all of SLP in order to wipe out 30 MM of restricted shares which would otherwise be coming off restriction this next month. Suddenly there is no stock for the shorts to use to unwind their positions. So long you worms!!
