Better question is "Why the big volume the previous three days." Current volume is closer to the trend line. Theories about the past three days: 1. Day trader play, lots of small market buys and then some big sells 2. Some new < 5% shareholders are now out there with news we don't have yet 3. There is a God and she/he has a sense of humor. 4. A comet is approaching the Earth and only those who rid themselves of all their money will survive. They bought APTX. Theories about today: 1. A very large order imbalance (would be nice if it were a market buy, but probably not) 2. They stopped trading because APTX is going to be acquired by Cendant in an effort to bring additional accounting expertise into the firm 3. No one really has a clue what APTX is doing Feel free to add to this list.
