Jen,Lisa...here's complete results from today. 4 more of the stocks
I monitor broke down and 1 broke up. Didn't post because of
difficulties posting on SI earlier today.

Stock 1 hour into market (a) close (b) low for day (c)
(low for day)
CSCO 95 5/16 95 94 1/16 93 (d)
USWB 19 7/8 19 5/8 19 3/8 19 1/16
RMBS 53 1/2 52 25/32 52 5/8 52
CMGI 66 1/2 same 65 1/2 63 1/2

GTW 56 9/16 same 57 56 7/16
LCOS 56 3/8 same 51 7/8 51
MSFT 111 1/2 same 110 3/4 110 1/16
SCH 38 1/2 same 38 1/16 37 5/8

VSIO (e) 37 1/2 same 37 1/4 38

(a) 1st # is low (or high in case of VSIO) at 7:30 PDT which is what
I generally use. 2nd # is low at 7:45 PDT. I originally misread LS'
post on the strategy and used a one hour rather than one 1/4 hour
cutoff. As I indicated yesterday, its been working so I ain't
changin'.
(b) Close is 'ask' for stocks that strategy said to short, 'bid' for
longs.
(c) Obviously one can't hit this price. But you can see some
divergence from the close which is why you need real-time quotes,
quick executions and some sense of where things are going (momentum).
(d) CSCO shows a 93 low but the 'real' low was 94. There was one
large block around 11:10 am PDT at 93.
(e) VSIO was the only long.

GTW would have been the clear loser. USWB's price is such that
presumably you play w/enough shares that its worthwhile for 1/4 or
3/8 point.

I only played LCOS and CMGI (internets are weak nowadays) but covered
well above the lows for the day (read: I took my 2 points and ran).
MSFT was tempting but I was chicken given I'd reached my daily goal
already and the dullness of the market mid-day.

DELL also broke down in the last hour but that's too late in the day
to start a trade like this IMO.
