<<The law of God is holy and perfect. It was not the law of God that was at fault, but man.>>

I did not mean to imply that the law of God was faulty it was indeed mankinds sin nature that could not abide by the law.
My thoughts were in line with Hebrews 10
vs4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me

I had best further correct myself regarding the law remaining as a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ as I read the verses again in Galations Chp. 3 with specific emphasis on past and present tense
24 Wherefore the law WAS our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But AFTER that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
In that light I cannot refer to the law as a schoolmaster any longer.

In speaking with people regarding salvation if a person is not convicted of their sin I've always presented the law or Gods' judgment or simply the ten commandments and to date I have yet to meet anyone that has been able to say they have not broken any.
If a person is already convicted of sin in their lives and are fearful of Gods' judgment already I tell them of His mercy through Christ.

It is in this fashion that I have found the law applicable to show Gods' judgment or His mercy to those who don't know the Lord as Saviour.

God bless,
John
